Tutorials list what you need before the first step, note the software version used and show alternatives that cost less. We encourage keeping original files, crediting sources and checking licenses before reusing anything you did not make yourself.

We work through techniques ourselves where possible and describe results honestly, including when an expensive option brings little gain. Posts are updated when software menus change or better methods appear, so older tutorials do not mislead. If a method needs paid software, we say so early and mention free options when they exist.
